DAVE DOBRUSKY (Solo Pianist, Musical Director, Arranger) has been a Bay Area Critic's Circle Winner three time. He is proud to begin his twelfth season with 42nd Street Moon in San Francisco. Mr. Dobrusky is an accomplished concert pianist and musical theater conductor. Favorite productions at 42nd Street moon include GAY DIVORCE, PLAIN AND FANCY, THE ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT - THE SMELL OF THE CROWD, PARDON MY ENGLISH, THE GOLDEN APPLE, RED HOT AND BLUE!, CAN-CAN, FINIAN'S RAINBOW, BY JUPITER, LEAVE IT TO ME! (recorded), CALL ME MADAM, GIRL CRAZY, JUBILEE, and LOUSIANA PURCHASE. He has also payed for luminaries such as Marnie Nixon, Andrea Marcovicci, Klea Blackhurst and many more. Other Bay Area credits include: MAN OF LA MANCHA, PUTTING IT TOGETHER (San Francisco Playhouse); THE FANTASTICKS (Shakespeare at Stinson); IN THIS HOUSE, THE BOYFRIEND, WHISPERS ON THE WIND (Playhouse West); PASSSION, CHESS (New Conservatory Theatre); and youth productions of TITANIC and LES MISERABLES (Musical Theatre Works). Dave has also served Music Supervisor for RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL which played in SF and for THE ANTHONY NEWLEY PROJECT which played all over the United States.
